Renaissance Ringers

Like the Christ Church Chorale, the handbell ensemble, the Renaissance Ringers, was actually founded before Christ Church was officially chartered, having been organized by Mrs. Lynette Monk in the spring of 2010.  Through the generosity of a Christ Church member, a full 5-octave set of Malmark handbells and 4 octaves of chimes were acquired, making the ensemble a possibility.

The Renaissance Ringers is comprised (optimally)  of fourteen auditioned members.   It generally rings for worship services four or five times between September and May (including Christmas and Holy Week), concentrating mostly on level II and level III+ music of a wide variety of musical styles.  The accomplished ensemble is a proud member of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers and rehearses on Wednesdays, 5:30-6:45 p.m.
