Celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord!

Eastertide, April 4-May 16

Welcome!¬† Christ Church is a liturgical,¬†evangelical,¬†congregational body dedicated to the ongoing relevance of ‚Äútraditional worship for contemporary people.‚Ä̬† Founded in 2010,¬† we are grateful for our heritage that reaches all the way back to the original Mayflower pilgrims. We invite you to join us on a new walk down an ancient path.

Reformed in doctrine, the worship at Christ Church is in many ways similar in style and tone to a Presbyterian, Episcopal or Methodist Church.  You are invited to explore this website to begin your own discovery of Christ Church, and then, to visit us sometime soon!

We worship each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. in our beautiful Sanctuary, located at 105 Saddle Creek Drive, Lufkin.

COVID-19 ALERT:¬† In an ongoing effort to control the spread of the virus, we ask that all worshipers observe “social distancing” recommendations in choosing a seat in our services.¬† Family members may sit together, and face masks/coverings, though recommended, are optional in worship.¬† Sunday school classes will resume meeting on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 9:30 am.¬† We ask that all participants in those classes practice social distancing as appropriate, and that all members of the classes (except the teacher) wear face masks for the duration of the class, unless called upon to speak, etc.¬† Most other regularly scheduled small group gatherings, including musical ensemble rehearsals, remain canceled until further notice.

Christ Congregational Church is a proud member of the CONSERVATIVE CONGREGATIONAL CHRISTIAN CONFERENCE,  a theologically conservative denomination believing strongly in the autonomy of each local church under the headship of Christ, and working to advance the kingdom of our Lord through cooperative evangelism, church planting and missions.
