The Christ Church Covenant

Belonging to a religious congregation has very little meaning without a sense of covenant, which simply indicates a pledge members make to each other to walk together in mutual support and Christian love.  Therefore, this church requires that all members embrace the Christ Church Covenant, a revision of the historic covenant adopted by the Salem Congregational Church, Salem, Massachusetts,  in 1629:

“We covenant with the Lord and one with another; and do bind ourselves in the presence of God, to walk together in all His ways, according as He is pleased to reveal Himself unto us in His blessed Word of Truth; and do pledge to be faithful to our stewardship obligations to Christ Congregational Church in worship, service and giving, as the Lord shall enable and lead us so to do.â€
