For the Christian disciple, Bible study is not so much a “take-it-or-leave-it” proposition as it is a direct command: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2.15). There is little doubt that St. Paul’s specific injunction to his young protege Timothy has relevance to every follower of Christ. Therefore, in addition to the teaching ministry of our regular Sunday sermons, Christ Church offers weekly opportunities for older youth and adults to gather around the Bible for study, discussion, prayer, mutual encouragement and fellowship.
We currently offer study groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM at the church, with separate groups for children, middle school/high school aged youth and adults.
