Particular Beliefs

The doctrines that undergird the ministry of Christ Church as a particular, local body of believers, are outlined in a 12–article document entitled, Christ Congregational Church Statement of Doctrine.

While some of the doctrines herein set forth are not necessary for one to hold in order to be a member of Christ Church, (please see Membership) we believe them to be true and biblical, and we pray that we will all come to have a like mind about such matters.

That said, the Christ Church constitution and by-laws require that the leadership of the church, including Pastors and Deacons,Ā  affirm these particular doctrines, and also requires that all other personsĀ  who teach in the church, or hold other positions of leadership, shall agree not to teach contrary to the faith herein described.
